Whether it's a 64 or a 128, GEOS makes everything on your Commodore as easy as pointing and clicking. No kidding.

The spreadsheet works by pointing and clicking, just like the desktop publisher does - which is exactly how the word processor works, and so on. So once you know how to point and click a mouse or joystick, you pretty much know how every GEOS program works. Simple, huh? Well that's the idea.

GEOS applications freely swap data with one another, too, so trading text or graphics is never a problem. Which means you spend more time creating and less time deciphering instruction manuals.

The head of the family is GEOS 2.0, which includes everything you need to get started. It's deskTop keeps track of all your files and comes with a diskTurbo that drives your Commodore up to seven times faster. It also comes with a calculator, alarm clock and memo pad.

But the real power of GEOS 2.0 is the way it lets you create beautiful, custom documents, with all kinds of graphics. What-you-type-is-what-you-see with geoWrite, a full-featured word processor that displays fonts as you type. And to keep your spelling in check, geoSpell automatically checks your spelling, scanning its own geoDictionary and correcting any blunders it finds.

With geoPaint you get a graphic workshop with over 32 different tools and patterns that allow you to draw and save almost any kind of graphic. And everything you produce can be printed out on dot matrix or even Postscript(tm) supporting laser printers.

Developed by Geoworks and distributed by CMD, GEOS comes bundled with geoWrite, geoSpell, geoPaint, and a wide array of printer and input drivers. Supports up to three drives and RAM expansion.
